I will break free from this sphere
and will not give into my fears
as long as you are with me
there is nothing that will worry me
All those dark moments you replace
with caring words to embrace
I admit I am a bit afraid
but knowing you're near my fears are laid
The days of depression are no more
for in you I find my cure
I will not crawl back into that hole
because you're there healing my soul
There is so much of self hate
but now I open my heart's gate
whatever pain that comes my way
with your help I can chase it away
Feelings of love flutter in my eyes
where once it used to be ice
you awake a dying woman in me
and now I'm the woman I can be
There is so much to this life
and you teach me how to deal with strife
your every word shines like a star
with you by my side I can go far
I know I'm stubborn and annoying
yet your patience keeps our friendship going
you are my one true best friend
