How you can call me a friend
We hardly talk
It's all just pretend
You might text me
We might talk online
But you never call me
It's a waste of your time
I try my best
To understand why
You seem to not care
I just want to cry
To me you're a friend
I try to talk to
To you I'm a girl
That's the best I could do
If you call me your friend
Then why don't you try
To make time for me
So I'm not put on standby?
You call me your friend
But you don't let me in
You keep things from me
