They'd tell you the honest truth,
And not just because.
A true friend wouldn't always get mad,
And take everything out on you.
They'd respect you,
And everything you do.
A true friend wouldn't leave you behind,
To make your own way.
They'd be there the whole way with you,
And always be there to stay.
A true friend is something,
That can't be bought.
You may go through fights,
But that can be fought.
