Friends were forever,
Till the day I met you,
Friends were forever,
If only I knew.
I thought that we were close,
Great friends through it all,
But I found out the truth,
And started to bawl.
You used me to get,
To something you wanted,
You left me alone,
Shattered and forgotten.
I could tell you anything,
You helped me out,
I trusted you,
Without a doubt.
I don't know why,
But you started to change,
The new you was in,
And I was blamed.
Friends of mine,
Could see right through you,
They knew exactly,
Just what you would do.
They tried to warn me,
But I didn't care,
I seemed to think,
You'd always be there.
Towards the end,
I was treated like dirt,
I was crying endlessly,
That's how much it hurt.
I'll keep my head up high,
I'll try my hardest not to cry,
