My Lonely Childhood
by Jocelyn
I used to be the queen
of the playground
with my friends

Teach the kindergarteners
how to paint and do math
with my Best Friend

All my True Friends
were my teddy bears
that were in my bed

My mom would cook and
I would be outside
playing with my dog

I learned how to ride my bike
because of my older cousins
since I didn't have
any brothers or sisters

I grew up alone by the
side of my Teddy Bear
