There isnt long to go now
For Ill soon say goodbye
And I guess I'm scared of leaving
Of the tears, I'm scared Ill cry

I have written many poems
And most have been pretend
But this one is a true one
For youve been a true friend

I know weve hardly spoken
Hardly laughed,and hardly shared
But Ive always known youve been there
And Ive always known youve cared

When you read this it is obious
Youll know by what I say
It's you Ive fallen in love with
Who I long for through the day

The moments they are prescious
And they pass away so fast
Some days I feel so sad
As Im longing it to last

You can see it in my eyes
Thats why I turn away
For I can no longer look at you
And around you I can't stay

You're the only man I've known
Who's ever made me cry
Who's ever caused me so much pain
But yet I don't know why

I'm writing this to tell you
That even though I don't show
I will always love you
And that I need you to know

There is not long to go now
And Im frightened of being apart
Im scared that I wont see you
But youll still be in my heart

I'm always in your shaddow
quietly watching you day by day
I just wish I could be with you
To stand by you, to stay

I will miss you every moment
And pray that you are well
I'll hope that you are happy
And that somehow I can tell

I guess it is goodbye now
I won't forget you ever
My only wish will always be
That oneday we'll be together
