a step close
by melissa
Your knowlegde intrigue me,
Your intellect feeds me,
my body feels pain when you leave me.

I wrap myself up in a blanket of life stories, and experiences you have shared with me.

I desire for more and anticipate each word you speak.

The room is silent, the fire on a candle trickes, and as I close my eyes. I become that candle as you are that fire that burns to keep me shinning in a dark room.

As you and I need the light we come close to walk together as we journey to a place unknown down the hallways of life.
