I dream again.
I wish to wonder, for a day
in my endless yearnings, and
to try to make them real
To be close to you,
to look into your eyes
and, without words,
to tell you that I love you.
To hold your hands in mine,
closing my eyes in the rain,
to feel your presence before me,
your love exploring my soul
To press my fingers upon your lips,
just as you try to speak,
feeling the silence so powerful,
as you engulf me into your kiss
To let the world know,
let them know I'm in love,
something so painfully strong,
something I've felt for so long
To feel your arms around me,
so safe among these never-ending lies,
I'll whisper, "I'm glad you have found me,
for your love keeps me alive..."
