behind this smile
by jette

It was cold that summer night when you said forever will be yesterday, I feel a tear
But no, I have to smile and hold the tear at the corner of my eyes
We may have been in rough and thorny but I’ll tell you now
Those are my preeminent moments

Hard as a stone but what to do
You wish to be free so I let go half of me
Felt like shred to pieces all over the place
Now I’m all crush out

Winter has come, what a relief
Now I’m not puzzled that I suffer from chill
Just I pass by my friends
They were glad that I’m here even though part of me is lost

It took time for me to understand that yesterday is a memory
For that, I took my baby step forward
Just I stop to see what I encounter, oh my
Its half of my life with a creature unknown

I expect my self to cry but no, I smiled
As I see a smile that I’ve never seen from his wanted lips
I’m glad, glad that his ok even without me
So I continue my walk however, I pass behind him
For I don’t want to break those smile
