If Only You Had Made The Right Choice..... |
by Hannah Henderson |
I look at him
He looks at me
I can’t help but smile
Bu then I see,
He’s not really looking at me
I turn around and there she is
The girl he calls his…
I can’t help but hide my face
How could I be so stupid?
I jump out of my chair and race
Out of the room and down the stair case
But he doesn’t even notice
The tears are flowing
And I am running
A single kiss would have saved me
But instead I am blinded by him
So I do not see,
I run into the street and I am set free
A ford let me go
So now I am watching over my funeral
They are reading a section from my journal
I see you and wonder why you’re there
A tear rolls down your cheek
They are at the part
When I talk about how you had my heart
I loved you straight from the start
More and More tears run down your face
I see you are starting to get a taste
Of the love I had for you and still do
Even though you will never get a chance to show me your love too
The viewing is over
And I am in the ground
I think back and remember the times you made my heart pound
And even now I hear the sound
Of your perfect voice
If only you had made the right choice…..
