The Colors Inside of Me! by Cheyenne Comer

These are the colors inside of me.
These are the colors I don't want to be.

I'm red, black, and blue inside.
These are the colors I'm trying to hide.

I'm red inside because of you.
Red is for what you did and do.

You lied and hurt me oh, so bad,
because of you, I'm terribly sad.

I'm black inside because of me.
Black is for what I didn't see,

I thought you were my everything,
but now I know you're nothing.

I'm blue inside because of you.
Blue is for what I wish I knew,

I wish you were here with me,
then together we could be.

Because of you, I'm like this way
each month, week, and day.
