Maybe There's No Turning Back
by Brandon Dolan
All of our dreams came true,
on the day that we both said "I do".

Memories of us ran through my head,
at the moment that you and I were wed.

Caught in the moment with no other care,
cheerishing the life that we now share.

There were tears of joy that filled my eyes,
you know that love either grows or it dies.

Our love stopped growing, without even knowing,
we gave up when our light went out.

We were two lovers, who stopped caring for each other,
even forgetting what we're fighting about.

Memories faded, as our love waited,
trying to get things right.

We both made a vow, we can't give up now,
without putting up a fight.

We can't pick up slack, for the love that we lack,
maybe there's no turning back.

Now with two beautiful children, the family we're buildin',
are the ones who we should be thinking of.

Little hearts break, with so much more ache,
they are our cherished love.

We should rethink, and find the missing link,
and bring all of our love back home.

Show love to each other, care for one another,
the love that we've once known.
