I trust you with my life and soul,
and I hope you trust in me.
Only with you do I feel whole,
that's when I can truly see.
But you don't always trust my ways,
some days you sit in doubt.
You think that I am in a haze,
you try to figure me out.
When I don't give you a response,
it doesn't mean I'm hidden.
I'm not trying to be ensconced,
since lying is forbidden.
I wish my past would just efface,
but that's too much to impose.
I feel like I am in a race,
to show you truth I enclose.
