My mind holds many memories

As we all enjoyed the evening
And as I got to know you
You were a man full of passion
A beautiful heart too.
A moment in time that we shared
A romance to be told
How I truly loved you
Completely to my soul.
You gave back my confidence
The respect I had lost
What I would've done for you
No matter what the cost.
You were truly a blessing
That held the key to my heart
I honestly worshiped you
I did from the start.
If I could only relive my life
You would truly be my dream
Because of your loving heart
So perfect you make things seem.
Today I still think of you
And how things use to be
If only I'd met you sooner

But life continues on
