What Should I Do..
I think that you like me,
I'd bet my whole check,
But I don't know what to do,
My mind is a wreck.
You're a great person,
A loving friend,
I've never thought of you like that,
For me friendship was the end.
I keep pondering this,
I'm torn in two,
Should I give it a try,
And risk hurting you?
I don't want that,
I never have and never will,
You're just so sweet,
With a look that could kill.
If I lost you as a friend,
It wouldn't be a fair trade,
Hurting someone so nice,
In exchange for getting laid.
I'd never do that to you,
I'm just not that type of guy,
I couldn't just lead you on,
Then cause you to cry.
But what if it grew,
Into something great,
What if we were meant to be,
And you are my soulmate?
I may never know,
My path is so unclear,
Do I put our hearts on the line,
And risk the falling of tears? |
