I met you
In a dark time
You accepted me
With no reason or rhyme
We fell for each other
At least I fell for you
If you ever loved me
It would be a dream come true
You may never read
These words that I write
But I hope someday you'll know
I still think of you at night
I let you slip
Right through my fingers
And now my emotions
Drift and linger
It's so hard to say
These things to your face
Because whenever I see you
I'm frozen in place
I just want a sign
A simple clue
That you feel the way
I feel about you
Then it wouldn't be so hard
To confront these emotions
It wouldn't be crazy
To toy with these notions
Am I just rambling
Or do I have a point
Will we become more
Or will our Friendship disjoint
Now the tears cease
To Fall from my eyes
As I start to see
What this poem implies
You're the one I want
The girl of my dreams
Not having you around
Makes me want to scream
I love you
Like the stars love the night
And All I want
Is to be your knight in White |
