When it gets late and its time for bed i find you on the couch and i have somewhere to lay me head.
we climb the stairs enter the room and put on some soft music that will calm our mood.
we lay there.we talk.we kiss. and i think to myself it cant get better than this.
you pull me closer for a the nights last hug and i know that this is true love.
You leave your arms rapped around me. and i say to myself i can never leave him be.
your body against mine makes me want to be with you for a lifetime.
Your skin touching my skin make me know this is true within.
your fingers gently rubbing my back and i think to myself maybe sometimes i should give him a little slack.
you breath upon my neck and it sends chills through my entire being.feeling your heart beat makes me realize what i haven't been seeing.
seeing how you love me. seeing how you care. so now I'm laying here in a new position playing with your hair.
You are asleep by now.And I'm still awake. Thinking of how much i love you and all the steps we are going to have to take.
I shut my eyes and start to think...and as you know it...I'm fast asleep. |
