Wondering where you are,
Is heaven a nice place?
Did you pick your star?
I know it sounds lame,
But we talked about it one day,
And I'll never forget it,
In my heart you will forever lay.
I've got this memory of you,
The last smile you set free,
When you reached your goal,
And got to be what you longed to be.
That one last thing,
That you worked so hard for,
I'm still so proud of you,
But wish you could do more.
At your burial spot,
I ask you, why?
You left no explanation,
Of why you couldn't try.
The last words you said to me,
Were ''I Love You,''
I was unsure of why,
So I said ''I Love You Too.''
And now I get it,
Now I understand,
I wish you had never,
Let go of my hand.
I need you so much,
I can't do this with out you,
If you can see me,
You know it's true.
I wanna follow,
See your pretty face,
I can't take it that you left,
With out a single trace.
But I know I can't be there,
And I hope you know,
That I will always miss you,
