I Love You Grandma |
by James Martin |
I think back about a day
The way you loved me that special way
You took care of me and bought me things
When I couldn't sleep you would gladly sing
You picked me up when I was ill
My mother's roll you gladly filled
You were there to save my life
Take me away from the pain and strife
I write this poem and think of you
About all the things you didn't have to do
It was twenty-one years ago
When you made a decision to take me home
There were troubles along the way
I'm still learning till this day
I love you grandma I hope you know
All your discipline helped me grow We are together and never apart Cause your always in my heart
Be positive and I know we'll make it through
Remember Grandma I Love You!
