There is this feeling
I have deep inside
Unsure of what it was
I just tried to hide
As time went on
The feeling grew
Until one day I realised
How hard I'd fallen for you
My heart was heavy
and I longed to say
sweetie I love you
more and more each day
But every time i opened my mouth
the words just stayed inside
Why can't I just tell you
cause now I don't want to hide
Why is it so hard to say
Those three tiny little words
I'm so afraid of your response
and how much it could hurt
Then one night it happened
as I lay there in your arms
I couldn't help but succumb
to your overwhelming charm
I had to tell you how i felt
I prayed you felt it too
I closed my eyes and said these words
Baby I LOVE YOU
I love You too was all you said
as you smiled and looked at me
and in that tiny moment
you made my world complete
Three tiny little words
that took so long to say
made all the difference to my life
and I feel it every day.
