It was my 8th grade prom and I was never in love until that 1st kiss. I was in 8th grade and he was in the 9th grade, just before they separated the middle school and high school. The prom was over and we where all outside under the street light. His name was Kevin Citizen. He was my first true love (not at first sight). I was getting ready to go home when he put his hands on my shoulders and he asked me if he could kiss me. I said “yes.” I was cold at first, but the softness of his lips warmed me up. My friends where all around, but none of them laughed. They where amazed at how long we kissed. I must admit, it was a pretty long kiss and Big Red gum had nothing on us. Thank you for letting me write my story( ‘til this day my mom doesn't know). (smile)
