After months of sideways glances and "accidental" touches, you made your move. We had been working side by side for three hours straight. I had already fallen for you by this time and I had to hold myself back. We did start out as friends about eight years before and yet, this is where we ended up. After I had put all of my supplies away and you made sure no one was around to see, you pinned me up against the back wall, caressed my cheek and pulled me close. The feel of your soft lips was overpowering. Had you not been supporting me and holding me so close, my knees would have surely buckled and I would have fallen to the floor. Although the kiss lasted less than a minute, the impression is permanently branded on my heart and in my mind.
