When I had my very first kiss, I was 18. I had waited for what seemed like forever for it to happen. Like probably every girl, I imagined how it would happen over and over, but the real thing was more perfect than I could have ever dreamed. My first real boyfriend and I had been together for 2 weeks before we decided to attend a New Year's Eve party together. It didn't turn out to be much of a party, but we had fun just being together. As midnight approached, we sat in a chair watching the countdown. He pulled me and whispered "Happy New Year" into my ear just as the countdown reached one. Then he leaned in and kissed me. That was just as it turned 2000 and a few days ago, that same guy, who is once again my boyfriend, admitted that it was his first kiss too.
