It was raining and after work, I had my dad drop me off at his house. We lied on his bed and watched movies all night. That’s all we did, hung out like always. About 4 in the morning, I figured I better be getting home, before my parents start to freak, so he walked me home as always. We took a short cut through a field. It was raining and we were watching the lightning. I was wearing his jacket cuz I didn't have one and he had his arm around me. For some reason, we stopped at some train tracks on the edge of town. He was talking about something and then, out of the blue, he kissed me. It was great with the rain and his arms around me. When I opened my eyes there was a huge flash of lightning. I'll never forget the look in his eyes. He walked me the rest of the way home without saying another word. On my door step, he said, “You look great in the rain" and he kissed me again. I watched him walk down the street, almost in shock. I turned around to go back in the house only to find both my parents and my sister looking at me, through the front windows. My parents are still telling their friends about that.
