I have met my Husband on line. He is a 6'3",45,blonde hair American living in CA. I am a 5'4",32,black hair,desendant of slaves,Brasilian living my whole life in Rio de Janeiro. We both had placed ads in different sites seeking our soul mates or a love interest. He was doing a search for a girl in Brazil and had been to Rio de Janeiro a few years before and fell in love with the city,the culture, and the people. We met on line in January 2001. We sent a few e mails back and forth. We then arranged dates on line and began IM each other. Our dates have been on Thursday and Friday evening. And on Saturday and Sundays with an e-mail or e-card every single day. We have sent snail mail cards & letters and photos too. We phoned each other about twice a month and then more ,our pocket purse permitting. A day has not gone by where we have not communicated with each other. We have laugh ,we have argue we have gotten mad at each other over the web. But the love and interest remained and grow each day. Rick won my heart... we planned to get together in Rio and he travelled so far just to meet me and hopefully, after some months, we married. If it was not for the WEB we may never have met each other. I hope you enjoy our story. Because we love it and will tell it when we old and gray to our kids and grandkids.
