Let me just start off by saying I haven't dated anyone in five years. Well two weeks ago my ex came to see me at my college. I had dated him for three years and even though he was a total jerk to me I still had a special place for him in my heart. Well needless to say he was a jerk to me once again. At this time I swore to myself that I would never find anyone and I would never love again. So the following day I called my cousin crying because of what had happened. So to make me feel better she invited me to a party that night. When I got there I was still upset and not really enjoying myself. But by the end of the night I figured I should ask someone to dance since no one had asked me. So I looked around the room only to find this cute guy sitting all by himself. I figured I didn't have anything to lose so I asked him to dance. It turns out that he goes to the same school as me and we have a lot in common. So the following weekend he took me out and was a total gentleman. He opened every door and wouldn't let me pay for anything. Now it looks like we may start to get serious. Maybe one day I'll let him know just how he saved my heart.
